This is very interesting article, I also noticed this —

”The study was based on data from 9,008 children collected in the USDA Continuing Survey of Food Intake by Individuals 1994-96 and 1998.”

We’re almost in 2006, and we can’t get more accurate and up to date information.

Working mothers don’t just give finacial stability, they’re a neccesity. Staying at home is a choice, but I resent the idea that working mothers as a whole don’t feed their children well - my entire family is Vegetarian and none of my children are vastly overweight.

The tone of your comments seems to imply otherwise.

Having read the article you link to as well as more indepth coverage of the study, I feel you are misinterpreting its conclusions. The most interesting finding is that children receive adequate nourishment (i.e. calcium) regardless of whether or not their mothers work out of the home.

Thanks Woc & Alma...for pointing out to that aspect of the story as well. While writing this story, at no point I meant that working mothers are not coming up to the mark when it comes to taking care or feeding their kids. In fact they are very well doing their job.
And I did mentioned that kids are getting more nutrients at school as compared to home.
Anyways thanks a lot for these suggestions i’ll definitely add them into the story.

Keep reading...and keep the feedback on.
